Registration is now open for the 11th MPN Horizons Conference.  Our annual global conference that brings together MPN advocates, clinicians, sponsors and experts to exchange knowledge, strengthen networks, and advance our shared mission to improve the lives of people living with MPN.

Dates: 16-18 October 2026
Location: Paris, France
Venue: Le Méridien Paris Arc de Triumphe

We’re pleased to announce that MPN Horizons 2026 will take place in Paris, France – the “City of Light,” known for its elegant boulevards, iconic landmarks, museums, cafés, and vibrant intellectual and cultural life. This year’s in-person conference will once again unite our global community in an environment that encourages open dialogue, collaboration, and learning. Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning as part of this growing network, we look forward to welcoming you to a space where we continue to Learn. Share. Grow.

The MPN Horizons 2026 programme brings together a dynamic combination of medical education, advocacy discussions, and practical workshops designed to strengthen collaboration and improve outcomes for people living with MPNs worldwide.

The conference will explore the current and future landscape of MPN care, with expert-led medical sessions covering the latest developments in PV, ET, and MF, including emerging therapies, genetics, transplantation, nutrition, inflammation, and the ongoing debate around treatment-free remission and quality of life goals in MPN treatment.

Advocacy sessions will focus on strengthening cooperation between patients, physicians, and industry, addressing psychological support needs, health policy, reimbursement challenges, and improving access to treatment in low- and middle-income countries.

The programme also includes interactive workshop sessions, as well as the Best Practice Session, where patient organisations will present successful initiatives and projects from their own communities.

Designed to be educational, collaborative, and practical, MPN Horizons 2026 will provide a unique international platform for advocates to learn from leading experts, exchange ideas with peers, build global connections, and strengthen advocacy efforts for people living with MPNs.

Submitting a poster is one of the most engaging ways to take part in MPN Horizons 2026. Your work will be featured in a dedicated poster area throughout the conference, giving every delegate the chance to see advocacy projects and initiatives making an impact around the world. It’s a great opportunity to share your achievements, exchange ideas, and spark new collaborations.

As an added benefit, organisations that submit a poster may bring a second delegate with the conference fee waived (please note that travel costs will still apply for the second delegate). Sharing your work not only helps others learn from your experience it also brings your organisation a stronger presence within our global community.

Please note: Frace is part of the Schengen Area. Delegates who require a visa should register by 1st of July 2026 to allow sufficient time for processing and travel arrangements.

IMPORTANT: The Entry/Exit System (EES) is now active across the Schengen Area. It became fully operational in April 2026. Under EES, non-EU travellers entering the Schengen Area for short stays will have their entry/exit recorded digitally, including biometric data (fingerprints and facial image).

The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is not yet active. It is currently planned to launch in the last quarter of 2026, so make sure to check on updates prior to your travel in Paris.

Be sure to register early to secure your place at MPN Horizons 2026 an opportunity to connect, contribute, and be part of shaping the next chapter of our MPN community.

Paris, France will host the 11th MPN Horizons 2026, and registration will again be available for up to three participants per organisation.

To ensure that as many organisations as possible benefit from participation, MPN Horizons 2026 offers several scholarship options:

Option 1 Full Scholarship
A full scholarship will be provided for the first delegate from each eligible patient organisation. The scholarship includes an economy-class return flight, accommodation for the duration of the conference, and waiver of the conference fee. Please discuss your participation with your organisation’s leader before submitting the registration form.

Option 2 Second Delegate

Organizations may register a second delegate to attend the conference. To receive a waiver of the €1400 conference fee for the second delegate, the organization must submit a poster showcasing an MPN-related project, advocacy initiative, or community activity.

Please note that travel costs for the second delegate are not covered and must be arranged and funded by their organization, regardless of whether a poster is submitted.

If no poster is submitted, organizations may still send a second delegate; however, the €1400 conference fee will also need to be covered by the organization.

Option 3 Third Delegate
A third delegate from the same organisation is welcome to attend at their own expense, covering both travel and the EUR 1,400 conference fee.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply under any of the above options, participants must:

  • Be a staff member or volunteer of a MPN patient organisation that is an active member of the MPN Advocates Network, with at least one new activity or project report submitted within the past three years.
  • Or be in the process of establishing a recognized MPN patient organisation; and
  • Be actively involved in MPN advocacy activities and able to initiate or expand new initiatives after the conference; and
  • Have sufficient English to participate effectively in sessions and discussions.

The registration form will include these scholarship options, and applicants will need to indicate which one applies before submitting the form.

The conference fee of EUR 1,400 applies to the second and third delegates from each organisation (if a poster has not been submitted by the deadline). This fee will be invoiced by the Leukaemia Patient Advocates Foundation (Switzerland) prior to the conference.

For Sponsors Representatives

Representatives from partner and sponsor companies are also required to register through the Horizons platform. Room reservations will be managed by the organizing team, and sponsors will cover hotel costs directly.

Local transport between the Paris Airports and the conference venue will NOT be arranged this year. Each delegate will therefore be responsible for arranging their own transportation from the airport to the hotel and back.

Paris has a very efficient public transportation system, and delegates are encouraged to use public transport where possible. Depending on your arrival airport, the easiest options include:

  • RER regional trains (RER B from Charles de Gaulle Airport into central Paris)
  • Metro connections
  • Airport shuttle buses and local buses

The conference venue, Le Méridien Paris Arc de Triomphe, is well connected by public transport and can easily be reached via Metro and RER lines.

Alternatively, delegates may also use taxi services or ride-hailing applications such as Uber or Bolt for direct transport to the hotel.

The Horizons organizing team will coordinate hotel bookings for sponsor representatives, while sponsors will cover their accommodation costs directly to the hotel.
All conference meals and attendance during the meeting will be covered by the organizers, and no separate invoice will be issued to sponsor representatives.

Travel Arrangements for Patient Advocates, Steering Committee, and Speakers

The Horizons team will coordinate flight bookings for the first delegate from each patient organisation, and Steering Committee members.
If this applies to you, please do not book your own flight. Instead, include your preferred travel dates, departure airport, and times in your registration form.

As a non-profit organisation, we aim to secure the most economical and practical flight options for all participants. Tickets are typically booked for the duration of the three-day conference and, in most cases, include hand luggage only. Some airlines may include one checked suitcase, but this varies by carrier and route. Once your ticket has been issued, please check directly with the airline to confirm baggage allowances.
Important; if checked baggage is not included, any additional baggage costs are the responsibility of the delegate.

Early registration helps us secure suitable flights

The second and third delegates from the same organisation, are responsible for booking and paying for their own flights to any of Paris Airports.

Travel Arrangements for Sponsors Representatives

Sponsors are responsible for booking and paying for their own flights.
The Horizons organizing team will arrange hotel reservations on behalf of sponsor representatives, while

payment for accommodation will be made directly to the hotel.

Visa requirements for France depend on your nationality and country of residence. As France is part of the Schengen Area, travellers entering France will also be subject to Schengen visa regulations.

Citizens of many countries, including most European countries, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the United States, and several countries in Latin America and Asia, may enter the Schengen Area visa-free for short stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

To confirm whether you require a visa to travel to France, please visit the official French government visa portal: France-Visas Official Website

If you require a visa, you will generally need to apply for a Schengen Short-Stay Visa (Type C) through the French consulate, embassy, or official visa application center responsible for your country of residence.

Visa processing times vary depending on the country of application and the season. In general, Schengen visa applications are processed within approximately 30 calendar days, although delays may occur during busy periods. We therefore strongly recommend starting the visa application process as early as possible.

To support your application, Marija will provide the necessary documentation before you apply. Required supporting documents include:

  • Flight Itinerary
  • Hotel Confirmation Letter
  • Invitation letters from:
    • Local patient organisation VIVRE AVEC UNE NMP
    • MPN Advocates Network (LePAF), confirming that all costs, including travel, accommodation, and meals, will be covered by LePAF.

Please ensure your passport is valid before making travel arrangements for at least 6 months from departure day.

The European Entry/Exit System (EES) is now operational for non-EU nationals travelling to the Schengen Area for short stays. In addition, the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) for visa-exempt travellers is expected to launch later in 2026 but is not yet active.

We encourage all MPN patient advocates to take part in the Best Practice Session at MPN Horizons 2026 by submitting an abstract about your work, project, or activity.

This session is your opportunity to be part of the conference programme and share what your organisation has achieved over the past year — whether it’s a new initiative, a creative awareness campaign, or a project that has made a real difference for people living with MPN.

The Best Practice Session will take place on Sunday morning, 18 October 2026. Selected advocates will give short presentations showcasing their activities, highlighting what worked well, and sharing lessons learned along the way.

It’s one of the most engaging parts of the conference where ideas, experiences, and practical approaches come to life. By presenting your project, you’ll not only celebrate your organisation’s achievements but also help others learn from your experience and adapt it in their own communities.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the MPN Horizons Abstract Committee, and those selected will be invited to present during the session.

To submit your abstract, please visit the MPN Horizons 2026 webpage or follow the link provided in your invitation email.

All submissions must be received by 10 September 2026.

For guidance or additional information, please contact Marija Stefkova at [email protected].

We’re inviting all members to take part in one of the most engaging parts of MPN Horizons 2026 the MPN Advocacy Poster Area. Each year, this area comes alive with the energy and creativity of advocates sharing their work, ideas, and achievements from across the globe.

Your poster is your opportunity to show what your organisation has achieved, share new ideas, and connect with others who are working toward the same goal: improving the lives of people living with MPN.

Whether you’ve led a campaign that raised awareness, improved access to treatment, supported patients, or built new collaborations we want to see it.
Your work deserves to be seen and celebrated by the global MPN community.

Organisations that submit a poster can also bring a second delegate with the conference fee waived (travel costs still apply).

The Horizons team will take care of printing accepted posters, so all you need to do is send us your design and share your story.

Throughout the conference, delegates will have the chance to view all posters and vote for their favorite, leading up to the Best Poster Awards ceremony during the closing session on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
Awards will recognize creativity, clarity, and impact highlighting the outstanding advocacy work being done across our network.

Please send your completed poster, following the guidelines and templates provided in your invitation email or on the MPN Horizons 2026 webpage, to Marija at [email protected] by 10 September 2026.

We invite all members to take part and make the most of MPN Horizons 2026 whether by submitting a poster or sharing your work in the Best Practice Session.

This conference is built by and for our community. Every story shared, project presented, and discussion held helps strengthen our collective voice and the impact of MPN advocacy worldwide.

We look forward to welcoming you to Paris, France, from 16-18 October 2026, as we continue to Learn. Share. Grow. together.
